With
its commitment to the development of linguistic fluency and
cross-cultural understanding, the AUCP provides students with a solid
foundation for promising international careers. Secure in their
knowledge of French, as well as their ability to observe, understand,
and adapt to a cultural dynamic not their own, AUCP alumni seek out,
find, and even attract rich, challenging, cross-cultural careers both
at home and abroad.
AUCP
students share an ambition to strengthen ties of communication through
both language and respect for cultural difference. Program design and
course offerings prepare students to go on in their lives to serve as
bridges between peoples whose worldview and organizing values differ.
Be it in the reinsertion of the US homeless into the workforce, a
teaching assistantship in a French high school, a marketing study in
the Czech Republic, or a Peace Corp experience in francophone Africa,
AUCP alumni excel in important missions both domestic and foreign.
