At semester’s end, the home universities receive the AUCP Permanent Academic Record, or transcript, recommending academic credit transfer (normal load: 15 semester hours).  Before leaving their home universities and colleges, students should assure that AUCP academic credit recommendations will be accepted upon return.  A space on the application form guaranteeing such acceptance should be signed by a home university dean or other responsible official.
